Beautiful Beaches

It is an understatement to say that the world is literally filled with gorgeous beaches. There are so many, they would be impossible to even list much less have a chance of seeing all of them. But the odds are that over the course of many vacations or family gatherings, you have developed a fondness for a particular beach of several beaches and to you, those special places would rank as your favorite beach locations.

A fun exercise in imagination is to think of the greatest beaches in the world and imagine how you might visit them. The obvious locations of Hawaii and the Caribbean spring to mind. And with the internet, it is easy enough to pull up photographs or even videos of the beach you are researching to get a feel for what it would be like to spend a day there. If you wanted to make a list of the world's beaches, you would make a life's goal to go see, that would give you something to shoot for.

One of the things that makes any beach special is its location in the world. If you ever got to hang out on one of the wonderful beaches in the south of France, the coast of Bulgaria or just off of Greece, the very fact that you were in such an amazing location by itself would give you goose bumps. Not only that but the geography all around you would be so new and exotic that mixing your beach time with sightseeing would make for a vacation that could not be missed.

Another way to make vacation that is focused on being out on the open waters is to rent a yacht. Most people don't think this is even possible or that yachts are only for the very rich or people who participate in regattas. But the truth is that you can rent a yacht for a weekend, a week or longer and the leasing company will make sure the boat is ready to serve your needs. And since they want their yacht back, they will give you some guidelines and some navigational instructions of great locations near some of the finest beaches of the area so you can feel like a real sea faring family and still come back safe and sound at the end of your adventure.

You can usually find great ways to take in some of the great beaches that are near your vacation location and work them in with your other vacation plans. This is certainly true of California beaches, Florida beaches and the beaches all up and down the gulf coast. So if you are thinking about starting that list of fabulous beaches you might try to see in your lifetime, go for it. That would be a fun hobby to pursue.
