Beach Balls
The funny thing about these colorful balls is that everybody loves them. It is almost absurd to think of meeting someone who would say, "Oh I just hate them." Like a cute puppy, pie during the holidays and hugs, they are universally loved and welcome in just about any setting. It has been that way every since they were invented back in by Jonathan DeLonge back in 1938.
It was probably all those silly beach movies in the 1960s like Beach Blanket Bingo and How to Stuff a Wild Bikini that brought these fun toys back into popularity. They make a perfect beach toy of course (hence the word "beach" in what we call these happy plastic balls) because they are lightweight, easy to bounce around and even if they bounce out into the surf, they come right back.
In addition to being endlessly fun, you can got to any beach store and find balls that will make any occasion more fun. In fact, they are so universally loved that you can find them in the swimming section of any toy store or even at Wal-Mart and at any time of year. Because the construction of these happy beach toys is simple and durable, they are inexpensive which means you can buy a lot of them to fill a room with for a party of just to let the kids have lots of fun tossing them around.
Who hasn’t been to a concert or a sporting event and seen many colorful balls bouncing over the heads of the crowd? The promoters toss them out there to give the crowd something to play with as they wait for the show. That is because these happy toys bring out the child in everyone. And no matter how dignified you are, you will wait with excitement if you are in that crowd for the moment when one of those floating balls comes your way and you get to poke it and send it flying.
These are perfect toys to add to your backyard when you are turning it into a playground for the kids this summer. In addition to the inflatable pool and the Slip and Slide, inflate a half dozen of these brightly colored balls and you have the basic ingredients to get a group of children playing happily, inventing their own games for hours. Standard sized balls are too large for the children to hurt themselves with and they are soft so even if a child sends one flying as fast as it can move and it hits another child's head, it will just bounce away harmlessly and leave the "victim" giggling from the experience.
Any house that needs some accessories that you can quickly turn to for fun should keep a good supply of these colorful toys on hand all the time. For a tiny investment, you can have as many balls in the closet un-inflated on the ready should you suddenly need to entertain children or adults who like to become children for a while. Within moments, you can have them inflated and entertaining people for hours. In that way, these happy plastic toys are the perfect toys.
